Utah Dispute Resolution (UDR) provides mediation services for families in conflict. Disputes range from divorce and paternity to estate probate and end-of-life decisions. Examples of disputes that are addressed through mediation include relationships involving:
- Parents and children
- Friends and roommates
- Separated and divorced parents
- Divorcing couples
- Parents who have never married
- Siblings in dispute over an elderly parent’s care
- Beneficiaries in dispute over probate issues

UDR cannot schedule a family mediation until we have received questionnaires from all parties involved in the dispute. When we have received the questionnaires, a UDR Case Manager will contact you with additional questions and to gather availability for scheduling the mediation.
Administration Fee: Utah Dispute Resolution (UDR) charges each party in the dispute a one-time, non-refundable $35 administration fee to open a family mediation case.
Mediation Fee: UDR’s standard mediation fee is $160.00 per hour, split between the parties ($80.00/hr each). Each party may separately apply for a reduced fee based on income level (see Reduced Fee Program below).
